Who we are
CognitivePepti is an independent research reference written by the CognitivePepti Research Desk, a small editorial group. No laboratory, manufacturer or regulator owns the site or directs its content. The site has one commercial relationship, with Purita, which is described under Affiliate disclosure below.
The site summarises published research and regulatory records on peptides studied in neuroscience laboratories. These include Semax, Selank and delta sleep-inducing peptide (DSIP). It is written for lab researchers and students.
The cognition peptide research guide is the best place to begin. The Selank research overview and the DSIP research overview cover individual compounds.
Editorial standards
We use only two kinds of source:
- Peer-reviewed literature, linked where possible to the PubMed record for each paper.
- Regulatory records, such as published pages and meeting agendas from the US Food and Drug Administration.
Each finding is attributed to its source. Results from rats, mice or cell cultures are labelled as such, because they do not show what a compound does in people. We say so where evidence is thin, comes mainly from one group or has not been replicated.
The site is strictly educational. It gives no advice on uses, amounts, administration or sourcing. Regulatory listings and nominations are described as records only. A listing or nomination does not amount to approval. Compounds discussed on this site are for laboratory research only and are not for human or animal use.
How corrections work
Readers can report an error to the Research Desk. This includes a misattributed finding, a broken link or an outdated regulatory status. Please include the page address and, where possible, the source that shows the problem. We check each report against the original paper or record and update the page where needed. Significant changes are noted on the article concerned.
Affiliate disclosure
CognitivePepti earns a commission through paid links to Purita, a research-use-only supplier. Every such link is marked as a paid link. A listing or link is not an endorsement of Purita or any product. This relationship does not influence which studies we summarise or how we describe them. Full details are in the affiliate disclosure.
Contact
The Research Desk can be reached at info@zvezdaff.com, the mailbox the CognitivePepti team uses for site correspondence. It handles corrections, source questions and general enquiries about the site. We cannot answer questions about personal use of any compound.
